SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

2011/2012 Two Scholarships for Nurse Practioners

• Sandra Mossa, Laurentian University, has lived and worked as a nurse in Sault St. Marie. Her years in nursing have given her a wealth of experiences that include teaching, administration, and research. Her goals following completion of the Nurse Practitioner program are to work in her community (Northern Ontario) providing primary health care to the geriatric community.
  
  
• Vidhya Sivanatham, University of Toronto, has worked as a nurse for 11 years. She has a broad background in teaching, publishing, research, and administration. Her goals as a nurse practitioner are to work in a Toronto Emergency department and to focus on serving the immigrant population using a global health perspective.
