2008/09 Two Scholarships for Nurse Practioner
- Debbie Champ, University of Ottawa.
As a Nurse Practitioner, she will apply her skills in the primary care of people with developmental disabilities and in the care of marginalized AIDS patients and the homeless.
- Tracey Lillian Cockfield, Kitchener, McMaster University.
As a Nurse Practitioner she will focus her specialized knowledge and skills in working with troubled youths to prevent suicides, drug and alcohol abuse and mental health problems.
2007/08 Two
Scholarships for Nurse Practitioner
- Patricia Linette Byn, University of Toronto,
Nurse Practitioner Program graduate in April 2008, will use
her knowledge and skills to meet the pain control needs of
critically and acutely ill patients, particularly in under-serviced
areas of the province.
- Laura Dianne Callaghan, University of Toronto,
Nurse Practitioner Program Toronto. Upon completion of her
Masters’ in Nursing/ACNP program with a focus on Adult
“Acute care” she will take this knowledge to under-serviced
areas where the need is greatest.
